Privacy
Dikho keeps as little as it can. This page says what that is, who it is for, and how to remove it.
If you tapped a Dikho link to contact a business
We log that a link was tapped, the channel it was on and the website it came from (the site’s name only, never the full address). We do not log your name, your number or your IP address. The link then opens WhatsApp with a message to the business and a short reference. Anything you send goes to the business, not to Dikho.
If a business tells Dikho about an enquiry
The owner may mark how an enquiry went (for example, confirmed or completed). For the pilot this is stored against the reference, not against your name. The business decides what happens to your enquiry, and Dikho acts for the business in handling it.
If you own a business on Dikho
- We hold your business facts, your WhatsApp number, your approvals and your poll answers.
- Your opt-in to WhatsApp messages is recorded with its date. STOP ends messages straight away.
- Payments run through UPI or Razorpay. Dikho stores no card or bank details.
What we never do
- Use one owner’s customers for marketing, a directory or another client.
- Send a customer’s personal data to any AI provider.
- Add a customer who enquired to a promotional list.
How long we keep it
Link and enquiry records stay for the length of the service and 90 days after. When a business cancels, its page stays for 30 days and the owner gets an export of facts and enquiries.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete data about you. Owners can send DELETE MY DATA on WhatsApp. Anyone else can message the same number with the business name and reference.
